Wow. And to think all that time and work spent in art school was unnecessary. Not. As some already mentioned, “training does matter”. Yes, the article did touch on some very basic issues for a very limited number of digital design projects for people who have NO EXPERIENCE. But what about design for the printed page, typography, composition, color theory (and no, you don’t need to start with B&W if you know what you’re doing and your client/project has a designated color palette), logos and brand design… I could go on. This is just the sort of article that lets everyone think they can be a designer by doodling around. Hey, even Leonardo and went to art school.
