BOSS and Roland Rock New Gear At Summer NAMM ’17
While summer NAMM might have a more laid back vibe when comparing it to the full show in Anaheim, some awesome gear announcements still fly out of Nashville every summer. Boss and Roland are bringing their best and brightest new gear for the show, and today we are checking them out. Here are 3 noteworthy products being shown off at Summer NAMM 2017.
1. BOSS Katana Mini
The Boss Katana is a beast of a solid state amp. Now it comes in mini. This tiny amp features, a 4 inch speaker capable of pumping out 7-watts of power, a 3 band EQ, 3 amp voicing’s, an aux input to connect your phone, and an output jack for headphones or recording. Take it on the road with you with 6 AA batteries and you get up to 7 hours of play time. Now you don’t have any excuse not to practice on the go.
2. Roland SPD::One Percussion Pad Series
Featuring 4 Pads that can integrate into your setup seamlessly, the SPD::One series of percussion pads offer amazing versatility. These pads allow you to alter pitch, reverb, and delay. It features 22 presets loaded on and the ability to upload more WAV files via USB. If that weren’t enough, it doubles as a MIDI controller.
3. BOSS RV-500
This is not your grandfather’s reverb pedal. The RV-500 has a rich, customizable feature set, allowing you to easily craft any tone you can imagine. Featuring 21 different types of reverb, 12 modes, ducking, modulation, EQ, and the ability to add patches via USB, with the RV-500 you’ll never need another reverb again.
