Promark recently dropped a new series of sticks that promise over the top durability using a unique heat tempering process. We got a chance to put them to the test, see how they hold up, and most importantly see how they sound. Check out the video below to have a listen, and keep reading for our full impressions.

Extra Crispy

The first thing you might notice when you see these things is the look. Each set of sticks look like it’s been placed in a furnace for a minute, and really, that’s because they have been. The special heat tempering process gives these sticks a fresh look that’ll stand out.

We even had a demo pair on my desk and walkers-by kept noticing the finish and asking what kind of sticks they were. Head turners for sure.

Hard Hitting

Do you want to play louder? Hit harder. Afraid of breaking your sticks? With these FireGrain sticks, you’ll go through fewer sticks, while still being able to maintain those hard fills and beats. Everyone’s happy.
