How to Use Cash-in with Trust Wallet
We are so delighted to announce that Cash-in has integrated Trust Wallet, to enable users who hold crypto in Trust Wallet to be able to convert their crypto into naira directly through a single process.
This interoperability of Cash-in with Trust Wallet is unique, and a first in the automated crypto off-ramp industry brought to you by Cash-in, and it sets the stage for making and receiving crypto payments seamlessly from your Trust Wallet through your Cash-in app.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to use the all-new “Cash-in with Trust Wallet” feature:
Step 1
Download ‘Cash-in: Crypto to Naira App’ from Play Store or Apple Store, and setup by providing your bank account and personal details.
Step 2
On the homepage of Cash-in, click on “Cash-in with Trust Wallet”.
Step 3
On the next page, select your preferred crypto from the drop-down list, ensure you select the correct network for the transfer, then select your preferred currency unit for the crypto amount you want to convert (BTC, NGN, USD), and then input the crypto amount you want to convert. Then click on “Cash-in”.
For example, if you want to convert ₦5,000-worth of USDC from your Trust Wallet over the TRC-20 network, then select USDC as your preferred crypto to convert to naira, then select TRC-20 as the network, then select NGN as the preferred currency unit, and enter 5000 as the amount. Then click on “Cash-in”.
Step 4
You will be redirected to open your Trust Wallet to complete the transaction from there. On the Trust Wallet transaction page you see, you will observe that your Cash-in address and preferred crypto amount have been pre-filled. Confirm the figures and click on “Continue” to complete the transaction. Please note that as this is a normal blockchain transaction, usual blockchain gas fees will apply according to the network you’re using for the transfer. Cash-in will however not charge you any gas fees for converting your crypto into naira.
