I am sorry you are already having to deal with the ugly that is chronic pain.
Kathy Jacobs

I’m so sorry to hear about your pain, too, but thank you both for having the bravery to share it with me. I’ve only recently started to come out of hiding about my illness, and have just begun to appreciate how many of us are out there are struggling in silence with these conditins. I don’t wish this upon anyone, but knowing I’m not alone is comforting, even though comparing notes and reading the statistics makes it all the more painfully obvious that modern medicine is failing miserably (so far) to explain or remedy these prevasive illnesses. But establishing community and supporting each other is so important in the meantime.

Since quitting my career and beginning my world-wide healing journey 6 months ago I have been discovering and investigating a number of alternative explanations and treatment methodologies. While I’m not quite out of the woods yet, these theories and techniques have given me more hope for recovery than I’ve had in a long time. I’m planning to post more about my experience with these methods soon, so stay tuned. :)
