Regularly partnering with influencers, Casetify is a brand that demonstrates the power of working with social media to enhance their business. Casetify is a phone case company that offers trendy and customizable phone cases, as well as smart watch bands, AirPod cases and other technology items. They have worked with multiple influencers, especially YouTubers, to help raise awareness for their products.

For this campaign, the brand sponsored one of Aspyn Ovard Ferris’s YouTube videos where she talked about some of their products, specifically the UV sanitizer. Ovard Ferris talked about the products for a little over two minutes in the 15 minute long video. She also provided a 20 percent off coupon for a phone case. Ovard Ferris has worked with Casetify before, focusing on the personalized cases and the military grade drop feature. This video focuses on the UV sanitizer because of the COVID-19 situation.

Ovard Ferris is a YouTuber with 2.12 million subscribers on her family vlog channel, 3.45 million subscribers on her main channel and 2.2 million followers on Instagram. This makes her a top-tier influencer. In August, Ovard Ferris will have been on YouTube for 10 years. Over the years, she has grown her following by posting vlogs and showing her life. The majority of her YouTube content is based around her family vlogging of her, her husband and her baby. She also has a strong following on Instagram and works with brands on both networks frequently.

Ovard Ferris has worked with brands from Hello Fresh to NordicTrack, as well with other influencers and small companies. She also owns her own online store, Luca and Grae. Her reach across her networks is very large, and her following is very loyal, especially if they have been following her since the beginning of her YouTube channel. Her YouTube videos usually receive a couple hundred thousand views, tens of thousand of likes, and hundreds of comments. Her Instagram engagement is very similar.

Casetify works with many influencers ranging from top-tier to micro influencers. On their website, there is a place to apply to be a representative for the brand. Casetify’s brand image is focused around trendy, young people, so Ovard Ferris fits that image perfectly. She provides a great reach across her platforms, and her following appears to trust her recommendations because they comment asking questions about products or saying they have purchased them, too. With all this being said, Ovard Ferris is a great influencer for Casetify due to her trendy lifestyle image and loyal following.

To measure the success of working with Ovard Ferris, they will probably look at how many people used the specific coupon code she provided in the video and how many views the video got. By using KPIs of reach, engagement and conversions, Casetify can see how many people the video reached and if people responded well enough to the video to buy a product.
