Police find Lynchburg detainee days after escape

According to Lynchburg authorities, James Pavlis, the detainee that escaped the Blue Ridge Regional Jail Monday morning, has been found. Pavlis escaped out the back entrance out of the kitchen. The 22-year-old was found by the James River, more than 2 miles from the jail.

Stafford Church Vandalized

A church in southern Stafford, VA was left with considerable amounts of damage earlier this week. A man walking his dog noticed that a window had been broken on the church. After investigation, deputies found further interior damage including a Bible ripped apart and thrown.

15-year-old accused of beating family members

A 15-year-old boy from Stafford, VA will be tried as an adult for hitting his foster mother and another older relative with a baseball bat in August. The victims show two counts of malicious wounds. A trial date will be set for later next month.
