Candy Corn Trick-or-Treat Classroom Door

Add a ghost and candy corn to your classroom door decorations to create a fun and spooky atmosphere! Use white paper to create a ghost and black paper for the eyes and mouth. Kids can make their own candy corn pieces to decorate the door too and customize them by writing their names on them. Add a little bag with candy for the ghost to hold. Finish by adorning with a friendly greeting such as “Trick or Treat, You’re so Sweet”.

Hocus Pocus Themed

Turn your door into a witch’s lair with just a few supplies. Use a backdrop of purple paper to create the scene. Use green and black paper to cut out three witch silhouettes. Make sure to add a cauldron that the witches stir. A tree can be made with brown paper and this will really add texture to the door!

Spooky Eyes

For a very quick and easy decoration you can make this with simply black paper and neon colored construction paper. Begin by covering the door with black paper. Then, taking your neon colored paper, cut out shapes like eyes. You can find some images online for reference or even print some out to trace. Add a word like Boo to really set the tone.

Keep Out

Greet kids with a Halloween-approved entry! Transform your classroom door into a menacing warning with cautioned planks made of upcycled cardboard and some craft store supplies. Begin by covering your door in black paper. Then you can trace kids hands on to green construction paper and cut out. Fashion “wood” planks from cardboard . Use black permanent marker to draw circles that look like nails holding the planks together and layer the cut out hand prints in between the ‘planks’. Add an extra-spooky touch with peeping eyes and a “Keep Out” sign.

Batty

Go batty by unleashing a cauldron of bats. Cover your door with paper bats coming from a paper constructed tree structure. You can put black paper on the door and cut out sets of eyes. Add a saying “We are batty”. This is sure to impress the kids for all of October.
