Adding to my series of different endings to fairytales, here’s my take on three of them at the same time. Except, only two of them are endings. The other is just the beginning.

After the kiss, the prince took Snow White to her stepmother’s castle. He showed her a young girl, and told her that it was the daughter of the Evil Queen and the huntsman who’d been sent to kill her. He told that it was their responsibility to bring up the kid. She agreed. About a week later, Snow White woke up to the sound of her bedroom door opening at night. The prince tiptoed out. She tiptoed behind to the Evil Queen’s secret tower, which was tastefully decorated and looked more royal than her wing. The prince walked into a chamber and Snow White peeked inside to discover a beautiful princess, Aurora, to be precise, waiting for the prince, with twins by her side. These were the twins she’d given birth to when she was in her deep slumber.

Prince Philip had married Snow White after Aurora. Snow White marched into the room and confronted the prince. Aurora was extremely shocked. The prince stammered unintelligibly, but it was too late. Snow White went to the stables and rode out to the dwarf house. She opened the door and fell back as she saw seven corpses hanging from the ceiling. The dwarfs had secretly come to know of her plight. They’d tried to contact her, with no effect. They’d loved Snow White too much to bear the thought of her misfortune and had thus taken their own lives. They explained all this in a letter, should Snow White ever think of visiting them, or if any passers-by could tell her. Snow White fell onto the floor, numb and heartbroken. She cried throughout the night and died of a broken heart. Meanwhile, Aurora had sent a horseman in search of Snow White. Upon hearing her plight, Aurora poisoned the prince. She then brought up her twins, and the Evil Queen’s daughter, as her own.

Years later, on a trip to Croatia, a gigantic magic dalmatian cornered them on an alley way. The soldiers ran away. The four had to fend for themselves. The magic dog hurt Aurora and the twins beyond repair, and the girl was the sole survivor. She vowed to take revenge. With a new hairdo, name and motto, Cruella de Vil was born.
