Looking Ahead

Like many other businesses, Catalyst Space is taking things one day at a time.

We had initially intended to start holding classes next month, however it looks like we might be holding off until June. With students effectively starting their summer early, we realize many parents are looking into summer program options for their kids. Catalyst Space will potentially be offering summer programs, if you are interested and would like to be notified when we have more information please fill out THIS FORM.

Pottery Wheels

One of our more popular classes has been our pottery classes where we often get requests about throwing clay on a wheel. In order to provide wheel throwing classes, we will need several more than the one wheel we currently have access to.

Member Daniel Saville

Pottery wheels are actually surprisingly expensive given their simple functionality, and to help us acquire more wheels we are applying to the Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation grant.

As part of our grant, we are asking that anyone who might be interested in having access to a wheel or taking classes with the wheel to please fill out THIS FORM.

By doing so we can show a clear demand for the wheels that will help us be successful in this grant pursuit.

Makers Fighting COVID-19 With PPE

We have been busier than ever producing PPE for local medical staff and could not have done so without your support! Our efforts even made the local news! With a goal of raising $5,000 to produce 1,500 shields, we are excited to say we are halfway there!
