The F Word

Ahhh the F word. I mean “finance” of course. (you dirty bird)

For most of us, it’s a complex, confusing and tedious topic. But it’s a necessary evil. As much as we don’t like researching things like 401k or budgeting, we know that if make a wrong move, it could have major consequences. Bad consequences. So we choose the path of least resistance. At least that’s what we did.

It’s actually why we created CNote. We realized that financial freedom was something all of us wanted — but the path to get there felt sometimes awful and often cumbersome. We sit here working super hard to make our money, but then to manage it and create more of it feels like we entered a whole different world. And that seemed both silly….and unjust.

What we we know: the majority of people who understand and love finance today are — shocker — financially affluent. Yep. So guess what? They keep making products and services that are for people like them — folks who enjoy complexity, competition, gamesmanship and research. So if you have all the time in the world to figure out where to put your money so it makes you more money, then stop reading right now. This site isn’t for you.

But if you are a hard worker, a good saver and also feel like you’d like financial freedom when you’re still young enough to enjoy it then welcome to CNote. We are creating CNote for you and with you — for all of us. Everyone deserves financial freedom. And it starts here.
