Thanks for taking the time to articulate this, hopefully it gives founders and hiring managers pause for thought in how to create a workplace that appeals beyond the bro-culture. There’s way too much emphasis these days on perks that don’t matter. Too many talented people fresh out of school fall for the ping pong tables and free lunch vs. seeing the bigger picture of how a company can help them develop.
