Weeknotes 28 October — 1 November 2019
New projects, blogging, data driven decisions and Halloween!

This week we’ve launched into November already (yikes!). I look around Manchester and already the Christmas markets are being set up in anticipation.
I’ve been back to an almost full week this week, with the exception of a Thursday afternoon off to meet up with my sister and mom, who came to visit me and my partner.
It’s been an energising and motivating week with a new exciting project kick off for me, an upcoming blog post and incorporating more data into decisions at Co-op.
Starting on Co-operate
This week I’ve joined a new product team called Co-operate. I’ll be dividing my time between Health and Co-operate now.
The Co-operate team have been lovely and welcoming and I’m really excited to get stuck in on our new plans and ventures.
Co-operate aims to make it easier for people to come together and make things happen in communities. You can find us here.
Blogging
A few weeks back I did some usability testing with some visually impaired users from the Royal National Institute of the Blind.
This week I’ve been writing up a blog post with a colleague Paul Braddock on our findings and learnings. Watch out for this on the Co-op blog soon!
Data driven decisions
This week has been all about rooting everything in data as far as possible. I’ve delivered some Google Analytics training for a colleague and also set up a data group in the Health Team. Having this allocated time together to interrogate the data will be invaluable to ensure our decisions are data-driven going forward!
That’s all from me this week. Short and sweet. Hope you’ve all had a lovely Halloween!
