Interesting article — thanks! Seeds are such power houses. I make a dairy free “parmesan” out of hemp hearts, grinding them with some garlic powder, a little salt and nutritional yeast. Sometimes I’ll do half hemp, half cashews. I sprinkle it on salads, pasta, avo toast etc. :)

Doesn’t have to be low in calories. You bulk up the diet with beans, lentils and other legumes: super cheap, super nutritious, loads of protein, all of which can be bought pre-prepared. That’s assuming, however, that people have access to these foods in their neighbourhood (which is part of the point the article makes).
