First off, I absolutely will defer to you on this. I am not about to be one of those jerks who says, “but because it’s not obvious to me, from my position outside your experience, I reject what you’re saying.”

But I usually see this come up when anti-trans folks make statements like, “Everybody is born either male or female, full stop. That’s just science, folks, get used to it.” It seems like if nobody mentions intersex people at that point, it contributes to intersex erasure.

What would you say at that point? Or is that a conversation just not to participate in?
