“IA#10: Museum Visit: Ayala Musuem”
The indigenous Philippines Textile is the collection of where we can see the traditional craft of the Philippines. They have many kinds of textile that came from different parts of the Philippines. The tribes that are making those textile are using it for the survival as clothing. This textile represents the province or state that they are in. And create working opportunity to the people in that state.
The Diorama Experience is all about the history of our state/country that is carved by artisans from Paete, Laguna. They have made all the art forms in woodcarving as well as in miniature paintings and decoration. This art form gives us the information how the religion and society in the history. The Diorama Experience focuses on People Power, Martial Law and other significant events of the country. The art works also represent how others survived in all the events that happened in the country.
The Gold of Ancestor have more than one thousand gold objects displayed that celebrates the culture in the 16th century. The exhibition give us the knowledge on how they uses gold for them to survive and have the things that they need. Example of it will be the golden sashes, necklaces, earrings and many more. This also symbolizes the creativity of the 16th century people on how they have used the golds. And now all of this gold have became very valuable in the eyes of the people.
