My response to Kady M. You may not think one life is “worth it” even though that life may be yours; but you are forgetting the long term cost of not seeking health care. As for being “inefficient” why don’t you look at our pre-Affordable Care Act system which is fundamentally inefficient and highly costly. (And if you don’t think you were paying the costs think again…) Note to Kady: The most efficient and cost effective health care in America is Medicare and Medicaid (the latter of which primarily helps to take care of the elderly and children). It is a myth that all parts of the government are inefficient.
