Sherry, I think this is beautiful. It takes what can be construed as a platitude, and what emerges is something quite meaningful and personally helpful, to me. It’s like what I learned long ago about the art of sculpting: The sculptor damages the marble with the chisel, and, through the damage, a beautiful work of art is created.
