I like how she talks about embracing remote working, rather than just allowing it.

My partner works fulltime from home, for a company that’s based in the UK and has lots of staff working around the world. Some of those people work in a company office but many work from home. In his case, he’s a systems administrator, and it’s done as part of a ‘follow the sun’ support model, but many of the other people in his company who work remotely aren’t part of that model. It seems to work well for them — interesting a big part of their recruitment process is making sure that the potential employee is comfortable with tools like IRC to enable communication and collaboration.
