Can Maths Be Fun Ever?
Do you think maths is fun? That its concepts and numericals are easy to do? Does the idea of practicing maths all day excite you in any way? Do you know anyone for whom maths is fun and interesting? What was the last time you solved a question without cringing about the formula? Is it that you just cram those formulas and concepts to pass the exam and forget it all as soon as you get out of the exam hall?

For most of you, if not all, maths is fun only till addition and subtraction because that is what we use and face in our daily lives. Be it paying a bill, calculating the rent or estimating the value of something. And beyond that all the algebra and geometry seem just useless and too complex to understand. Unless you happen to be a excellent student in maths, just because you think maths is fun and can be practiced all day.
But for the majority of people maths can be their worst nightmare and most horrifying memory. Given all those composite topics like fractions, number system, average and so on. Each one of them seems to be way more difficult than the other. And this ignites a fear so intense that leaves many of us in tears.

So is there any way or method by which maths can be made fun and interactive for children to practice and solve. And that too not for passing an exam. But for learning the concepts by heart for long enough. As later in life children are going to need all those formulas when they are going to go for higher studies and would even require them at job. As many of them require analytical skills which can only be supported if you have a strong hold on maths.
Well you always have the option of solving problems from your textbook for practice and grasp the intricacies of mathematics problems. Be it fractions, algebra, geometry, trigonometry or number system. But this traditional method of solving numerous repetitive questions is the one that is in some way responsible in making maths bore. When was the last time you picked up a book and did all the questions without falling asleep after having tried a few? And that doesn’t mean its you who is lazy. Because it is the method you are using to learn, being so primitive and analytical that it make you doze off.
Then why not try something new and fun to learn maths? And one such method is by solving worksheets on varied topics. These can be easily downloaded from a website and after printing onto a sheet, be used for practicing the tough concepts that earlier gave you a hard time. But this time they are going to be a lot more interesting and fun to do.
So grab some worksheets and build your maths skill day by day and in no time you will be saying that maths is fun.
