Interview with Solaris (XLR) team

1. What is XLR and how would you explain it to non-crypto speakers?
Solaris (XLR) is a global monetary network that allows anyone to transact, pay, receive and be their own bank (with complete anonymity if needed).
The network is secured by individual computers acting as whole with one purpose in mind — to guarantee trust and consensus amongst all participants. Every user participating in securing the network gets rewarded for his efforts.
2. What are the use cases you are looking to cover?
In tune with its main purpose of being a payment network, we have established,
and will continue to integrate, partnerships with vendors where a lightning-fast virtual currency would be a great asset.
Some of these include: FLOGmall, MyCryptoCheckout and of course, txbit.
Txbit.io is the upcoming modern cryptocurrency exchange which will provide Solaris significantly more exposure, liquidity and grant Solaris coin holders several enticing benefits such as receiving 50% of the net transaction fees from the exchange.
3. Which part will XLR have in txbit.io eco system?
XLR to txbit is like BNB is to Binance, but even cooler!
Not only will there be trade pairs offered with XLR as the basecurrency, but Solaris holders will be able to link their masternodes to the exchange and earn coins doing so.
This will be possible even while staking which gives the XLR holder alternatives on how to participate in the txbit ecosystem and get rewarded for it.
4. Why is txbit.io unique and better than the other Exchanges?
Sometimes, being first to market isn’t best. Having multiple years of experience trading and navigating the crypto exchanges that got here first, our team now knows what works and what doesn’t.
We aim to deliver a blazing-fast exchange with world-class user experience and a major emphasis on customer support. Navigating the site and apps will be crystal clear. We will cater to traders who enjoy spending some time behind the charts but also to those who prefer to be in and out quick.
This is thanks to our proprietary trading engine and interface, all built from ground-up to ensure security and speed.
Secondly, it is appalling and down right unethical how exchanges extort projects with insane listing fees, essentially extorting teams out any development funds just to get listed on an exchange.
What’s worse, majority of these exchanges are wash trading with internal bots to inflate their volume. Hardly providing any actual liquidity, or benefit for that matter, for the project after it shells out a large listing fee.

With txbit.io, we aim to change this negative outlook on exchanges and to provide a fair and honest service, for both the users and cryptocurrency projects alike.
Txbit.io will be the altcoin exchange this industry deserves.
6. What’s the added value of XLR in comparison with other privacy coins?
They say a picture speaks a thousand words…

7. Who is behind XLR? Backgrounds?
Due to the nature of a decentralized, anonymity focused project, the XLR team is mostly anonymous, but have made their identities known to requesting parties such as exchanges and partners.
Details about current team members can be found here: https://solariscoin.com/team
Txbit will be a Dutch registered company and operating from the Netherlands. Legal information will be provided at launch.
8. Thinking about the future, do you have any roadmap with relevant upgrades or partnerships?
Currently, the team’s main focus is delivering the txbit.io exchange as fast as we can without sacrificing quality.
Meanwhile, we will continue to expand the network with more tools such as the iOS wallet app that is nearing completion.
We will also be enabling zXLR staking, updating the interface in our wallets and enabling community governance for all participants in the not-so-distant future.
9. Plans for exchanges?
As always when faced this question, we can only state what is publicly allowed.
There is an ongoing pursuit to be listed on as many good exchanges as possible but we can only disclose the information when it’s certain.
10. How much funds do the core team has in budget for development and marketing?
There are existing XLR accounts with our development funds. The exact figures can be found via any Solaris block explorer such as: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xlr/address.dws?19807.htm
