Should our clients “like” our designs?

This is an interesting point that I never thought about. Intellectually, I’d want a website for my business that converts the best. My design aesthetic be damned. End of story.

But emotionally, I know I’ll also need to like the design. If I’m not happy with the design, I’d be less likely to share it with others. Loving my design doesn’t make me a dime, but I have a strong need to share it. I won’t share it unless I love it.

I don’t think I could ever get past that, even though I’d like to say I could.

Remember when I bought that business last year? I’d begrudgingly give out the URL, only if someone directly asked for it, and only after I gave them the 10-minute story about how crappy it was when I bought it.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
