CBx: Redefining the Whole-Plant Hemp Market

There is a lack of consumer terminology to describe the emerging hemp plant extract category.

As the market matures, a sophisticated buyer will need a term to refer to the 130 therapeutic compounds known as cannabinoids and terpenoids. Products that go beyond pure CBD including THCa, THCv, CBDa, CBG, CBN, and CBC require a layman’s term.

CBx (using the analogous Rx association) will replace what is presently referred technically as phyto-cannabinoids.

Phyto-cannabinoids interact with the human endo-cannabinoid system (ECS) binding effectively with the millions of CB1 and CB2 receptors in our body found predominantly in the brain and nervous system, as well as in our organs and tissues.

Simply put: CBx entourage combinations bind to CB1 and CB2 receptors.
