So important.
Alex Tan

Instagram is the perfect example of what I’m talking about and why I mentioned it in the post.

I use hashtags on my photos because I know they might help get my photographs seen by new people and I want as many people as possible to see and enjoy my work.

Every other day I’m pitched on a new tool that can automate the likes and comments on Instagram. Every day I see these auto comments to “keep up the great work” and “wow” on my photos.

Recently I posted a tribute photo of a friend and I who passed away. When several of these auto comments showed up I was pissed. You shouldn’t ever outsource your humanity for the sake of a little attention.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
