Great article! One thing about this “political revolution” is that if Iowa is any indication, well, it probably isn’t happening. I did a quick google search to find some numbers (not my forte but I did it anyway). First, Iowa 2016 saw lower Democratic voter turnout than in Iowa 2008. Not a great harbinger for the revolution. Second, in Iowa 2008 voters under 30 were 22% of the Democratic vote but in Iowa 2016 voters under 30 fell to 15%. Yes, the “youth” go for Bernie but if they don’t GOTV for Bernie I’m not understanding how this revolution happens.
