Video Games and Mental Health

Hello all. As some of you may or may not know, I like video games. Some might say I like them “too much” but those people are wrong and crazy. Fourteen hours in one sitting isn’t crazy, PFFT!

Silly jokes aside, my teaching session will be about World of Warcraft and mental health issues with a bit of psychology sprinkled in there. Video games can cause negative effects to your health if not taken in moderation and it took me a long time to figure out what works for me.

The homework assignment will be nice and short(ish). I want you to write about a video game that you really like and why you like it. I then want you to take notice of how you act when not playing video games, and then notice how you change when you play games. If you don’t play video games, a board game, or if you don’t play board games, a mobile phone game, or if you really have never done any of that, a sports game in P.E or something.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
