Secrets to a Long Life and Successful Marriage

On February 19th I was up in Pennsylvania at the Washington Crossing Foundation to honor veterans and I met this incredibly kind 83 year old woman. Martha turns 84 in June and this year she is also celebrating her 65th wedding anniversary — so she took a minute to drop some advice:
“Just help other people and don’t let yourself get down. Enjoy yourself… I don’t really feel like I have a secret because I don’t feel like I’m 84…also find a good hobby and that will help you a lot”
Her hubby (towards the end) is an Air Force vet who served in Vietnam “back before it was Vietnam.. it was called French Indochina then!” Then she asked me a question about Mao..#MarthaIsSmarterThanMe
