Where is Blu Cantrell?

Last week I was writing a story and I thought to myself, what would be a gas song to put into this. First thing I thought of was “Breathe” By Sean Paul and Blu Cantrell.

Then I was like, what ever happened to Blu Cantrell. She kinda just had that one song, Which, was a whopper by the way, and then vanished. I also remembered there was a lot of speculation surrounding her when I was younger. One of the lads was convinced she was a porn star. He said he saw her on Bravo one night.

Back then we had to take him for his word because we didn’t have the internet. But now we do and I was about to find out the truth, once and for all.

When I googled her. This is what I found,

“Cantrell was taken into custody by police for a psychological evaluation on September 3, 2014. She was seen running around the streets of Santa Monica at around 2 am, screaming that someone had “poisoned her with gas”. Cantrell, according to witnesses, went ‘berserk’ and referred to herself as a “one-hit wonder”, questioning authorities if they recognized her; when her “erratic” behaviour failed to cease, someone called the police. She was taken to a nearby hospital and was evaluated by medics.”

So, there you have it. After all those years, it’s very sad to hear Blu Cantrell was in fact not a porn star.
