We take different literary approaches to this but, damn, reading your piece felt like the kind of clear and thoughtful approach I’d been trying to reach for.

Oddly enough when we met in Dublin I had this sense that we were going through some of the same things. Had I known we were cut from such similar cloth… All the paradoxically pulling forces that come about from this need for success and being ‘liked’. Its odd to be in that self-reflective place where you see what its doing to you but feel powerless to alter your path. Too many fake smiles to count.
