I’m a Democrat and seldom agree with anything our Texas legislators do, but I don’t understand how anyone gets along these days without a state picture ID. You can’t cash a check, pick up mail at the post office, see a doctor, go to the hospital, open a bank account, rent an apartment, get on a plane, use a credit card (sometimes), buy a house, drive a car, etc. etc. without one. Doesn’t everyone do at least one of these things?
