BarCamp Little Rock 2015

BarCamp is an ad-hoc unconference born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from attendees.

10:43 a.m. Kickoff: Jordan Carlisle welcomed everyone to BarCampLR and started us off with a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors. Next we heard from the potential presenters on topics ranging from new media to starting a business.

11:10 a.m. — Voting for classes and lunch break.

12:08 p.m. — Bitcoin (Jordan Carlisle) and Good Storytelling (Chad Williamson)

12:35 p.m. — Virtual Reality (Jared Johnson) and Streamlining Your Network (Salil Joshi).

1:20 p.m. — Social Media Exposed (Nicholas Norfolk) and 3D Design (Gordon Fisher)

1:50 p.m. — Future of Media (Tim Freeman)

2:20 p.m. — Technology Behind GitHub Pages (Paul Gower) and From Idea to Shelf (Nathalie Gordillo)

2:35 p.m. Swift & iOS Development (Josiah Brann & Luke Irvin) and Raising Capital for Startup Funds (Lee Watson)

3:00 p.m. — Empathy for User Interface (Jordan Carlisle) and Grilled Cheese (Ryan Guinee)

3:49 p.m. — Closing: Jordan wraps up BarCamp. He thanks everyone for coming out and thanks the sponsors.

4:01 p.m. — Announcements: Community leaders talk about upcoming events and projects. Check out the websites to find out more.

4:22 p.m. — Final Thoughts: We have come to the end of BarCampLR. It was a day of conversing with cool people, informative discussions, and learning new things. It has been a great day and we look forward to the next event.
