Choose a right Career path.
We commit one-third of our lifetime to our careers, which is why it makes obvious that we should pick one that is suitable to our abilities and personality, the one you make part of your every day’s life.
Sometimes this matching goes beyond your personal interests and aspirations hence need a detailed analysis on what you are made of. Aptitudes is the foundation that defines your abilities to do a job and Personality defines the way you react to a particular situation or circumstance. In this sequence memory acts as base for all your recollection, analysis, and decision. The one who has insights about these own traits has fair chances in choosing a right career path.
A survey conducted by University of the Western Cape (UWC) revealed that there is a direct correlation between career guidance services and job satisfaction. The study reveals that once an individual works through a career assessment and guidance process, they tend to find a career which is satisfying to them. The study also reiterated that the choice of educational field, institution and career path might be better served by a thorough and rigorous assessment of the individual followed by supportive, pro-active guidance rather than taking a shot in the dark and simply hoping for the best. This strategy, it seems only works in around 40% of cases.
It is imperative to understand that choosing a career doesn’t mean merely deciding up on ultimate career profile which will give you fame and success rather it means that a person should have potential to grow with that career and achieve success through his/her decision.
