In case you havent seen it yet, the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why follows the story of why a teenage girl (played by Katherine Langford) decided to take her own life. It was adapted from a novel of the same name, and Selena Gomez is an executive producer on the project.
She recently shared an Instagram story showing off the matching tattoos she got with cast members Alisha Boe and Tommy Dorfman, and the powerful reason for what they chose.

The group opted to permanently display the project’s message with a black semi colon, which has become a symbol for mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
