2nd edition of the Hangang Nodeul Island Festival

Here, the crème de la crème of Korea’s performing arts scene will deliver a ballet and an opera performance that promise to leave audiences spellbound.

Building on the success of last year’s festival, which featured “The Magic Flute”, this year’s event will showcase the grace of “Swan Lake” and the charm of “The Barber of Seville”.

The Universal Ballet and Ballet STP, a consortium of seven ballet companies, are joining hands to bring “Swan Lake” to life in an outdoor setting.

The performance, scheduled for October 14th and 15th, will see Kang Mi-sun in the role of Odette and Rhee Hyon-jun portraying Siegfried.

As we approach the end of the month, on October 21st and 22nd, “The Barber of Seville” will take center stage under the skilled guidance of conductor Kim Ghun.
