Starship Entertainment launches global auditions for 2025 boy band debut
Starship Entertainment is set to host a public audition beginning Monday, aiming to debut a new boy band by 2025.
Eligible applicants include males born between 2003 and 2010, with the “2025 New Kids on the Starship” audition link available in the description of the agency’s YouTube announcement video.
The audition is open to both domestic and international candidates.
This upcoming boy band will follow in the footsteps of Cravity, which debuted in April 2020, and K-pop group since girl group IVE, which debuted in December 2021.
The application period runs from Monday to 24 July.
For the first round, applicants need to submit an online self-introduction video and a talent showcase video in vocals, rap, dance, or acting.
Details about the second round’s date and location, which will be held offline, will be provided to those who advance past the initial stage.
