Starbucks Korea has embraced the growing trend of pet ownership by opening its very first pet-friendly store in the country.

The new store, called Guri Galmae DT, located in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, is a spacious two-story cafe spanning 645 square meters with 142 seats.

The first floor is dedicated to crafting delicious coffees and beverages, while the second floor offers a separate pet zone spanning 166 square meters.

Designed with pets in mind, the pet zone provides chairs for furry friends and a reserved lounge section where patrons can walk their pets on leashes.

Additionally, there’s a specially designed set in the pet zone that serves as a photo zone, allowing pets and their owners to capture memorable moments together.

To maintain cleanliness and hygiene, pets are not allowed on the first floor where the baristas work diligently to prepare orders.
