Ah, a reminder, I used to play late night and early morning tennis with a group of exec’s who were anointed with the responsibility to get “grocer’s” to switch from paper the plastic bags at check out. The breakthrough came with the design of the stand to hold the plastic bags open at the register so that items could be easily placed in the bags. They were so excited.

Between bottles and bags… lots of money at what expense?

By the way a few years later all of those exec’s were right sized out of business just like the paper bags. Is paper making a comeback?
