Thank you for this. Lots of ideas and reminders. The reminder for me is as a man well into his third act I still neglect the taking care of my self. Also, took me back to the days when I coached young woman in Little League Baseball. In retrospect I admired their grit, tenacity and on occasion their talent. In addition to acknowledging my own role what stands out was the total acceptance on the team by the male counterparts. It was clear that if you were on the team you’re one of us. ( i.e. we’re in this together). Do you think we’ll ever get to that place where we acknowledge our differences and realize that we’re playing on the same team. And, yes, you’d have my vote for Captain.
