Cervantes Bill to Expedite Teaching Credentials for Military Spouses Signed into Law

In 2017, Assembly Bill 226, which was authored by Sabrina Cervantes, was signed into law by Governor Brown. The bill expedited the process for military spouses to get a California teaching credential. Expediting this process is important for our military families, who often have to move from state to state.

Sabrina Cervantes comes from a family with a long tradition of military service, and knows that our veterans must be honored. That is why she has and will continue to fight for our military families, who sacrifice so much to help defend our nation.

Sabrina Cervantes is running for re-election to continue representing California’s 60th State Assembly District, which includes Corona, Eastvale, Jurupa Valley, Norco, and portions of the City of Riverside. You can find out more about her campaign here, or follow her on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.
