A month to go till Mozfest… Wait WHAT?!

For those of you who have followed me, you will know I went to Mozfest last year. In the last year, a lot has happened to me to help me grow and learn as a person, but Mozfest had been a key part and with just over a little of a month to go to the next Mozfest, I can say I am very lucky to be going again and am really excited.

This year the main focus of the event will be Internet Health. One of the key sections of this will be Digital Inclusion and making a diverse community around the World Wide Web. To me, this is a really important factor of the ever-growing evolving world of technology that needs to be available to everyone — you are at a serious disadvantage if digital knowledge is not available to you. My session is an Introduction to Code Club, reflecting the Digital Inclusion theme by trying to teach children, as well as people of all ages, how to code.

Many other things can be expected of this years Mozfest, including the usual silliness :). Here are some photos to remind you of last year ;)

‘The more voices, perspective, languages, and people contributing to the Web, the richer the experience for everyone.’ — Mozilla 2017

I hope to see you there :)
