What’s up with Northern Ireland?

That’s a neat summary of the situation in Northern Ireland. Much of what you tell us was unknown to me.
Your opinion in interesting as well, but when you mention the benefits of the EU on the Irish economy, you forget to mention the constrains. People always notice them and forget what they get in return. The EU puts a lot of restriction on argriculture and fishing. It is a long-term politics who should help biodiversity and will have a clear impact on the quality of the products, but the farmers and fishermen suffer from it now.
Anyway, as I said, it was a very interesting, well-documented post. But then your posts always are.
