Facebook is a great example of articulation and assemblage, and an ever-changing culture. In fact, the map of articulations for Facebook — with social media, personal privacy, individualism, corporate culture, friending (and un-friending), news filtering — goes on and on. The assemblages are portions of constant disarticulation and rearticulation. The corporation itself has a stake at keeping assemblages in public favor; yet the platform itself can sway public opinion away from it.
