> Launch School wants you to pass

This is absolutely true and sometimes people forget this. Assessments are the most expensive part about running Launch School; they all require human graders and is extremely time intensive. When someone doesn’t pass, we usually spend time discussing the assessment performance among ourselves and then take time to write up a review plan based on their performance so they can prepare for the retake. That takes a lot of effort. We really want people to come prepared and pass. But we hold the bar on assessments and we want everyone to earn it. Mastery of fundamentals is key and that’s why we’re so focused on it.
