“Yes, I am Jrunk Lerwan,” said the strange man.

“What?” Bri-Bri and TruEthan were not quite sure about what they heard.

“Oh My God! You’re Jrunk!” screamed John.

“Yes, wasn’t that what you said in the first place?” The man was mumbling.

“No! We just thought you were drunk from drinking,” said Sharo.

“Right, drunk with a D,” said TruEthan.

“Oh~ that drunk! Well, yes, I am that drunk, too. But, still, I — am — Jrunk — Lerwan.”

The man took off the disguise and showed his true face. Everyone, including the store manager and all the customers, stared at Jrunk with wide eyes and stunned silence.

“Die!”

Jrunk suddenly howled after a few moments of silence. Darkness started to appear around his body and form little blobbly wobbly arms. Jrunk’s darkness is a blob filled with evil which makes it attack people. It fired little pieces of the darkness, the same ones that killed Princess Rovia before.

Sharo started to think about Princess Rovia, though at the same time trying to dodge the pieces of darkness.

What made me think she was going to help Bri-Bri find his family? He asked himself. I think I saw something familiar maybe? Something that was going to help Bri-Bri find his family?

Sharo cast a glance at Bri-Bri — they first started the mission because of him, right? He then moved his gaze to Princess Rovia, her spirit was hanging in the air. Then he continued to recall what happened when they stayed for the night at Kawaii Altar. Right at this moment, Sharo felt a tight grip around his shoes. He looked down to was horrified finding that there were pieces of darkness wrapping up his shoes.

No! I cannot die before I solve the mystery!

He instantly grabbed those pieces of darkness, with all his strength, and flung them back at Jrunk. Now he remembered everything — the ring from Lintercrest! At the night when they first got attacked by Jrunk’s darkness, a piece of darkness slid up Bri-Bri and grabbed the ring, it then went to Princess Rovia’s room.

It must have slid on her when she died, and that’s why her destiny is to find Bri-Bri’s parents! Now it explains!

At the same time Princess Rovia was surrounded by darkness. It was trying to wrap her up and abduct her again. TruEthan scowled and cried out,

“Let go of her!” He grabbed a knife from the table near him and threw it to the drakness. It cut through the darkness with a tiny hole but the darkness managed to seal up by itself again.

Out of nowhere, a super bright light suddenly lightened up the whole place. The light was so white and bright that it blinded everyone, including Jrunk. The darkness started to shrink, and soon you couldn’t see it against the blazing white light. The light seemed to wrap around the darkness as it disappeared. Knowing he could not win, Jrunk also made himself disappear in an instant. When the darkness was no longer visible, the light started to fade too.

While people were still adjusting their eyes, Sharo caught a glimpse of Armi, holding his super flashlight, and Chrishie running towards TruEthan.

“TruEthan!” yelled Chrishie with happiness.

“Chrishie!” yelled TruEthan with joy.

They ran towards each other and hugged.

“How did you find us?” asked TruEthan, excitedly.

“We just arrived at La Frontier earlier today. While the others were resting, Armi and I went to see if we could get some information about your group. When we passed this area, we saw darkness spilling out of the door and windows. Armi took out his super flashlight to investigate, and I followed him in. Then we found you guys.”

“I’m so glad you’re back, and you helped us defeat Jrunk!” said TruEthan.

“Now we know that Armi’s super flashlight can protect us from Jrunk’s darkness!” said Sharo.

“Where are the others?” asked John.

“They are staying at an inn, about half a mile away,” replied Armi.
