It seems to me most of the arguments “against” this article are not targeting the primary, and to me, seemingly most important message. Namely, that Angular 2/4 doesn’t seem to offer any particular benefit over React. Some have noted that it does though, particularly around the libraries and contributions by others. It may well be true that a name could win over the actual practical use, because those great packages must be created due to name initially, without consideration from some of the more important things to consider, that are pointed out in this article. It will be interesting to see what happens. I am hoping something like React wins out, but as MPJ once said, programmers are herd animals, so its quite possible we’ll follow the shepherd of tech giants like google.
