Different messages are going to appeal to different people. The facts put forth by the RNC as part of their platform and message are what appeals to you. In this case, facts that focus on some recent horrid events in the world. Those things don’t appeal to me as part of a platform, though I certainly am concerned about what is going on out there. To me it is the culture of fear that the right consistently makes part of its messaging.

I am much more moved by what the speakers at the DNC say. Talk about healing wounds here at home. Talk about being good neighbors and fixing domestic issues.

It’s a different focus and some people will be in tune with one message, and some a different one. There is nothing wrong with that. I respect what you think, feel and what appeals to you, and hope you respect that what connects with me is different.
