I recently did some research for a presentation on EQ (emotional intelligence). And it certainly comports to this article. For one person, managing emotion may mean to not be too quick to give an opinion in a highly charged meeting, for example. One the other hand, another person’s emotional reaction to conflict may be to back off into the shadows and not say anything. EQ for that person may mean harnessing that emotional charge and let it be a catalyst in order to walk right into the conflict so as to address it. Shannon Ashley, thanks for your post.
