Diversity in Tech isn’t Hard. You are Just Lazy.

I am not any kind of expert or explainer here, but I am listening for success and struggle and want to help.

An event — or a community of contributors — is not the same thing as an organization, but the level of diversity celebrated here is a wholly compelling aspiration. However, it’s possible not to be ‘fucking lazy’ and face challenges to diversity from institutional biases and toxic — even dangerous — players the world over. Opression !== laziness. Organizationally, we have work to do; less than some; more than others.

I would love to help co-design or just listen to work done along the lines of ‘Teaching about diversity with the Web.’
