Our badgeholders have had a first look and we’re thankful for their feedback.

Let’s dive further into the details.

Game Redesign: Alpha 1.0

From today, everyone can jump straight into the latest Alpha build for Chain of Alliance: Alpha 1.0, players can expect significant changes, improvements and new features. For a detailed overview check our onboarding guide here, highlights for Alpha 1.0 include:

  1. Character Creation: We have introduced a Blessing and Fragment system, allowing players to customize their characters.

2. Crafting System: With the new crafting system, players can choose from a variety of rare materials to craft items, adding depth and personalization to the gameplay experience.

3. New User Experience: We have revamped the user interface to provide step-by-step guidance within the game.

4. Core Game Mechanics: We have made substantial changes to the core game mechanics, enhancing the gameplay based on valuable feedback from the previous public version.

Roadmap

We wanted to create a roadmap that would excite our community and challenge us as a team, but also without overpromising on features we can’t deliver on in the end. We feel we struck the balance with this roadmap and it encompasses various aspects of our game, including thrilling features such as Battle Ranks, Tournament systems, captivating new character classes, mesmerizing exploration of our first realm, and more. Next to these bigger Alpha updates, we’ll be constantly updating the game on animations, effects, sound, UI and balancing, to improve the overall experience.

  • Battle Ranks: After Alpha 1.0, the next release, Alpha 2.0: Battle Ranks, will follow. As usual, Badge of Alliance holders will have exclusive access to it initially, alongside a data reset. Eventually, it will be made available to the public. The objective of this phase is to focus on live operations to grow the community and increase trust in the project. Core mechanics will be expanded and iterated upon, including balancing adjustments for combat and items. The progression and reward system will also undergo rebalancing.
  • New Class: New character classes will be introduced that will expand the possibilities and strategies within the game. One of which will be the Assassin class. Here’s a sneak peek of the assassin suits that will be introduced later this year.
  • Multiverse: Take a glimpse of the first realm via our latest concept art.

Badge Holders

We would like to express our gratitude to our dedicated badge holders, who have supported us since the early stages. As a token of appreciation, we offer them early access to each Alpha Release, allowing them to experience new content one week ahead of everyone else.
