FIGHT AGAINST WIKIPEDIA VANDALISM
USING MACHINE LEARNING

On Wikipedia, vandalism is the act of editing the project in a malicious manner that is intentionally disruptive.
Vandalism includes the addition, removal, or other modification of the text or other material that is either humorous,
nonsensical, a hoax, or that is of an offensive, humiliating, or otherwise degrading nature.

APPROACH — MACHINE LEARNING AND BOTS
Vandalism can be fought in many ways and one such method is using the machine learning approach.

We have many bots that are available to fight the Wikipedia vandalism.

ClueBot NG(bot) is one such bot which uses a machine learning approach to detect vandalism and protect the Wikipedia page by reverting any changes done to taint the image of a person or an organisation.

CHALLENGES
We have no clue how this bot works and there is not enough documentation. So the only way to know how this works is to implement the bot and study the internals step by step.

GOAL
1. To fight the Wikipedia Vandalism for one of our client.

2. To understand the internals of the bot and learn the process of vandalism detection through implementation.

RESULT
Although the client is not completely benefited from this approach, however we have successfully uncovered the process and learned the internals of the bot.
